In this guide we will show you how to modify DNS in WHM<\/strong>. As a reseller<\/strong> there may be times when you have to make changes to the DNS entries<\/strong> for a domain, this can be accomplished in WHM without knowing the cPanel<\/strong> password of the account you want to modify.<\/p>\n

NOTE:<\/b> This guide requires WHM access. WHM access is included (at no extra charge) with our Dedicated Server<\/a>, VPS hosting<\/a>, and Reseller Hosting <\/a>\u00a0plans.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Keep in mind that any DNS modification can take up to 24 hours to propagate. Also, be careful when you modify DNS, as incorrect entries can cause a domain not to load.<\/p>\n

How to Modify DNS in WHM<\/h2>\n

    1. Login to WHM<\/a> (Web Host Manager).<\/li>\n
    2. In the left navigation menu, click DNS Functions<\/strong>, then click the Edit DNS Zone<\/strong> button.

    3. On the Edit DNS Zone<\/em> screen, click the domain you want to modify the DNS for, then click the Edit<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n
    4. You will then see all the existing DNS settings, such as Nameservers<\/strong>, A records<\/strong>, and CNAMES<\/strong>.
