Finding the database name for your PrestaShop 1.5 store<\/h2>\n

  1. First, log into your cPanel dashboard<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Once inside the cPanel<\/em>, you will need to enter the File Manager<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n
  3. After entering the File Manager<\/em>, navigate to the root folder for your PrestaShop store. In our example, the folder is named prestashop<\/em> and is located under the public_htm<\/em>l root folder.<\/li>\n
  4. Under the root folder for your PrestaShop store, locate and enter the config<\/em> folder.<\/li>\n
  5. Now that you are in the config<\/em> folder, you will need to open the settings.inc.php<\/strong> file. To open the file, highlight it and click on the Edit<\/strong> icon located in the toolbar across the top.<\/li>\n
  6. Once opened you will see several lines of code for various settings. Look for the DB_NAME line of code. You will see the database name defined on the right side of the code line.
