At times, you may find it necessary to work on your OpenCart website, while not allowing customers to access it. OpenCart makes this task, commonly referred to as \u201cMaintenance Mode\u201d easy to accomplish through the dashboard.<\/p>\n

  1. Log into your OpenCart Dashboard<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Go to System > Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Select your store from the list and click \u201cEdit<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n
  4. Go to the \u201cServer<\/strong>\u201d tab<\/li>\n
  5. Find the Maintenance Mode section (usually third from the top) and change it to \u201cYes<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n

  6. Click \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Now, when you visit your OpenCart site, you will see the maintenance mode screen.<\/p>\n
