OpenCart makes it easy for you to add a Google Site Map to your OpenCart store. You will already need to have a Google Webmaster Tools account set up. If you are unfamiliar with Webmaster Tools<\/a>, please see our article. To retrieve the URL to your Google site map, you must first log into the OpenCart Dashboard.<\/p>\n

  1. Log into your OpenCart Dashboard<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Go to Extensions > Product Feeds<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Click on \u201cInstall<\/strong>\u201d next to the \u201cGoogle Site Map<\/strong>\u201d product feed name<\/li>\n

  4. Click \u201cEdit<\/strong>\u201d and then change the status to \u201cEnabled<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n

  5. Copy the \u201cData Feed URL<\/strong>\u201d and click \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n
  6. Now log into your Google Webmaster Tools account<\/li>\n
  7. Choose the site you have set up for your shopping cart in Webmaster Tools<\/li>\n
  8. Click on \u201cSite Configuration<\/strong>\u201d in the left menu pane and then select \u201cSitemaps<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n
  9. Select the \u201cSubmit a Sitemap<\/strong>\u201d button<\/li>\n

  10. Paste the Google Site Map URL in the box. Be sure to remove the first part of the URL or it will not work. And Click \u201cSubmit Sitemap<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n
