In this Joomla 3.0 tutorial, we are going to show you how to create a new Category within the Contacts module.<\/p>\n

  1. Log into your Joomla 3.0 admin dashboard<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. In the top menu, click Components<\/strong>, hover over Contacts<\/strong>, and then click Categories<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. In the top left of the page, click New<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Fill out the details<\/strong> on the new Category page and then click Save<\/strong> in the top left of the page.\n

    In our testing, we are going to create categories for both teachers<\/em> and students<\/em>, starting with teachers. There are many details you can fill in for this new Contacts Category. To keep it simple, we entered Teachers<\/strong> as the Title<\/em>.
