\n General<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n \n Forum name<\/strong><\/th>\n This will display in the Link for the Forum in the Course section. This should be a short phrase.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Forum type<\/strong><\/th>\n This type is automatically created with the Course. The type is set and there can only be one of this type of forum in a Course. This Forum is only for administrators and teachers.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Forum introduction<\/strong><\/th>\n This is the basic introduction text describing the forum.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Display description on course page<\/strong><\/th>\n Allows the description to be displayed in the Course section..<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Subscription mode<\/strong><\/th>\n The subscription can be set to Optional<\/strong>, Auto<\/strong>, forced<\/strong>, or Disabled<\/strong>. Forced<\/strong> will automatically subscribe users to the forum and users cannot unsubscribe from it. Auto<\/strong> will subscribe everyone; however, they can unsubscribe. Disabled<\/strong> makes the subscription not allowed. Optional<\/strong> will give the user the choice to subscribe or not.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Read tracking for this forum?<\/strong><\/th>\n Tracking can be set to on<\/strong>, off<\/strong>, or optional<\/strong>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Maximum attachment size<\/strong><\/th>\n Sets the maximum file upload size in Megabytes.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Maximum number of attachments<\/strong><\/th>\n Sets the quantity of uploads allowed.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Post threshold for blocking<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n \n Time period for blocking<\/strong><\/th>\n Sets the duration in Days or Weeks to block posts to the forum. Can also be set to not block.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Post threshold for blocking<\/strong><\/th>\n Limits the users posts to a specific time frame and quantity before they are blocked.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Post threshold for warning<\/strong><\/th>\n Will warn the student if they are approaching the limit for posts.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Ratings<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n \n Roles with permission to rate<\/strong><\/th>\n Lists the roles that are allowed to rate the forum posts.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Aggregate type<\/strong><\/th>\n Sets the type of rating that will be shown. Options are Average of ratings, Count of ratings,Maximum, Minimum, and Sum. No ratings will not show the the forum activity in the Grader Report \/ Gradebook.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Scale<\/strong><\/th>\n Sets a scale to the rating. Only can be set if any other Aggregate type is selected and not the No ratings<\/strong> selection.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Restrict ratings to items with dates in this range:<\/strong><\/th>\n Sets a date range for the ratings.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Common module settings Advanced element<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n \n Group mode<\/strong><\/th>\n Allows groups to be used in the forum.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n Visible<\/strong><\/th>\n Toggles the visibility for the users.
