Our last article dealt with editing Supply Order Statuses<\/a>. However, you may have noticed there is very little to edit when you attempted to do so. If you are looking to edit any settings for a status other than the name and display color, you will simply need to create a new one. This article will guide you on creating a new Supply Order Status<\/em> in PrestaShop 1.5<\/p>\n

In order to create a new supply order status the Advanced Stock Management<\/a> option must be enabled.<\/div>\n

How to add a new supply order status in PrestaShop 1.5<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Log into your PrestaShop 1.5 dashboard<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Using the top menu bar, hover over the Stock<\/strong> tab and click on the Configuration<\/strong> option from the menu.<\/li>\n
  3. This brings you to the Configuration<\/em> page where there are various settings for Advanced Stock Management<\/em>. Look for the Supply Order Status<\/em> section, which is located at the top of the page. You will see a list of the existing supply order statuses as below.

  4. To add a new Supply Order Status<\/em>, you need to go to the creation page. Click on the green Add New<\/strong> button found in the upper right corner of the page to do so..<\/li>\n
  5. This new page is where you will create the Supply Order Status<\/em>. Fill in the appropriate data for the status you are creating. There are six fields to consider:

    Status<\/th>\nThis is the name of the status that displays in the list.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Color<\/th>\nThe background color for display in the back office.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Editable<\/th>\nWhether the order is editable or not.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Delivery Note<\/th>\nSet if you can generate a delivery note for the order.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Delivery State<\/th>\nSet if products have been received to the warehouse.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Pending Receipt<\/th>\nIf customer is awaiting delivery.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

  6. Once completed, simply click on the green Save<\/strong> button in the upper right corner of the screen. This will finalize your new Supply Order Status<\/em> and take you back to the list screen. Below is a before and after shot of adding a new Supply Order Status<\/em>.
