In our last tutorial, we demonstrated how to add a new currency<\/a> to your store. This article will teach you how to modify an existing currency in your PrestaShop 1.5 setup. Currency data may change, particularly the exchange rate you need to compare against your default currency. The instructions below will guide you on how to edit a currency in your PrestaShop 1.5 store.<\/p>\n

Editing a state in PrestaShop 1.5<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Log into your PrestaShop 1.5 admin dashboard<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Using the top menu bar, hover over the Localizations<\/strong> tab and click on the Currencies<\/strong> option.<\/li>\n
  3. Now that you are on the Currency<\/em> list screen, click on the Edit<\/strong> icon on the right hand side of the row of your selected currency. This icon looks like a pencil and paper. <\/li>\n
  4. This leads you to the currency Edit<\/em> screen. Like the article on adding a new currency you see the same fields here to edit. Make any changes you need to your currency.

    Field<\/th>\nDescription<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n
    Currency<\/td>\nthe currency\u2019s name, such as \u2018Dollar\u2019 or \u2018Euro\u2019<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    ISO Code<\/td>\nofficial code for the currency such as \u2018USD\u2019 for US Dollar<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Numeric ISO Code<\/td>\nthe international code for the currency such as 840 for the US Dollar or 978 for the Euro<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Symbol<\/td>\nthe symbol used with that currency ($ for US Dollar)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Conversion Rate<\/td>\nThe conversion rate based against the default currency for the program<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Formatting<\/td>\nbasic formatting for prices in this currency<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Decimals<\/td>\nselect to include decimals in the pricing<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Spacing<\/td>\ninclude a space between the symbol and price ($100 vs $ 100)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Enable<\/td>\nenable the currency to be listed in the dropdowns throughout the program<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
