New versions are released on a regular basis, and these updates often contain bug fixes and security patches. In this tutorial, we\u2019ll show you how to upgrade a program that you previously <a href=\"\/support\/product-guides\/softaculous\/install-software-softaculous\/\">installed using Softaculous<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To upgrade software using Softaculous:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol class=\"article_list\">\n<li>Click on the <strong>Softaculous Apps Installer<\/strong>.\n<div style=\"clear: both;\"><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click on the <strong>All Installations<\/strong> icon in the top toolbar.\n<div style=\"clear: both;\"><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>You will then be brought to <a href=\"\/support\/product-guides\/softaculous\/whats-installed\/\">your scripts installation page<\/a>. Next to the program you would like to upgrade, click the <img decoding=\"async\" width=\"24\" height=\"26\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inmotionhosting.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/edu_cpanel_softaculous_icon_upgrade.gif\" class=\"optimized-lcp-image\" alt=\"icon_upgrade\" loading=\"eager\" fetchpriority=\"high\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\"> upgrade icon.<\/li>\n<li>We recommended following Softaculous\u2019 suggestion and creating a backup before you perform the upgrade.
