After you have setup a tax rule by following the directions on this page, you can then <a href=\"\/support\/edu\/prestashop\/tax-rule\/\">associate this tax rule to a product<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"alert\">Taxes can be a bit confusing, if you have any questions please see our article here on <a href=\"\/support\/edu\/prestashop\/tax-and-tax-rules\/\">understanding taxes and tax rules<\/a> in PrestaShop 1.5<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adding a new tax rule in PrestaShop 1.5:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol class=\"article_list\">\n<li><a href=\"\/support\/edu\/prestashop\/login-to-dashboard\/\">Log into your PrestaShop 1.5 Dashboard<\/a><\/li>\n<li>In the top menu, hover over <strong>Localization<\/strong> and then click <strong>Tax Rules<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>In the top right menu, click <strong>Add new<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Type in a <strong>Name<\/strong> for the tax rule, select the green check next to <strong>Enable<\/strong>, and then click <strong>Save and stay<\/strong> in the top right menu\n<p>In our testing, we set the Name to:<br><em>US-VaBeach Rate (4.5%)<\/em><\/p><\/li>\n<li>After you click <strong>Save and stay<\/strong>, a new button will appear in the top left menu \u2013 <em>Add new tax rule<\/em>.
