It is the icon that looks like a file folder.<\/span><br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"485\" class=\"wp-image-8274\" style=\"width: 750px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inmotionhosting.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/softaculous_softaculous-all-installations.png\" alt=\"View Softaculous Installations\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inmotionhosting.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/softaculous_softaculous-all-installations.png 436w, https:\/\/www.inmotionhosting.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/softaculous_softaculous-all-installations-300x194.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (min-width: 1360px) 876px, (min-width: 960px) calc(61.58vw + 51px), calc(100vw - 80px)\" \/><\/li><li>Within the list of applications, <strong>click the backup icon<\/strong> to the far right (which looks like a zipped folder) of the website you want to backup.<\/li><li>Under <em>Backup Installation<\/em>, check either or both boxes to the right of <strong>Backup Directory<\/strong> and <strong>Backup Database<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Click the <strong>Backup Installation<\/strong> button at the bottom of the page.You will see a progress bar appear on the screen showing you how much time is left in the backup process. When the backup is completed, you\u2019ll see the following message:<em>The backup was created successfully. You can download it from the Backups page.<\/em> <p>If you click that <strong>Backups<\/strong> link, you\u2019ll be taken to a page where you can download a copy of the backup created. You can also find the backups using either FTP or the cPanel file manager. They will be located within the root of your account in a folder named <strong>softaculous_backups<\/strong>.<\/p><a name=\"download\"><\/a><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"download\">How to Download the Backup Just Created by Softaculous<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"article_list wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"\/support\/edu\/cpanel\/how-to-log-into-cpanel\/\">Log into your cPanel<\/a><\/li><li>Click the <strong>Softaculous<\/strong> link under the <em>Software\/Services<\/em> section<\/li><li>In the top right of the page, click the Backup and Restore link (which is the icon that looks like a CD)<\/li><li>On this page you will see a list of backups you\u2019ve previously created. Click the File Name next to the backup that you would like to download. Your browser will then begin to download the backup file.Take note that the File Name of each backup includes the date and time the backup was generated. For example, if you have a backup named wp.26_97098.<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>2012-08-22<\/strong><\/span>_<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>17-32-20<\/strong><\/span>.tar.gz, the backup was generated <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">August 22nd, 2012<\/span><\/strong> at <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>5:32pm<\/strong><\/span>.<\/li><li>Once you\u2019ve downloaded your backup locally it\u2019s important to remove old Softaculous backups that are no longer of any use.
