  1. Begin by opening SmartFTP<\/li>
  2. Next, locate the Address bar:

  3. Address:<\/strong> Either your domain name, host name or server IP<\/li>
  4. Login:<\/strong> cPanel username or other FTP username<\/li>
  5. Password:<\/strong> cPanel password or other FTP account password<\/li>
  6. Port:<\/strong> The default port is 21 and should be left as is unless you are instructed otherwise.<\/li>
  7. To connect to the server, click the connect button:

  8. Next, you will want to add the site to your Favorites so you can save it to use again:
