Joomla 2.5 includes caching options<\/a>, which when used can help speed up your site and reduce the load on your Joomla 2.5 hosting account. You can configure the cache to clear on its own after a set number of minutes, but sometimes you may need to clear the cache<\/strong> before that time limit is reached.<\/p>\n

Clearing cache in Joomla 2.5<\/h2>\n

  1. Log into your Joomla Administrator dashboard<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. In the top menu, hover over Site<\/strong> >> Maintenance<\/strong>, and then click Clear Cache<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Put a check in the top left box. This will select all groups that have cache that can be cleared. Then, click the Delete<\/strong> icon in the top right menu.
