Promo Codes are codes the shopper will enter into the shopping cart during the checkout process that provides them with some form of discount. You can create custom promo codes for specific occasions or even for use by specific customer groups. Creating a Magento promo code is accomplished through the Magento Admin Backend.<\/p>\n

  2. Go to Promotions ->> Shopping Cart Price Rules<\/strong>.

    Customer Groups<\/th>\nSelect the types of customer that can use this coupon code.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Coupon<\/th>\nSelect \u201cSepcific Coupon\u201d from the dropdown.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Coupon Code<\/th>\nType in the code the customer will use to redeem the promotion.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Uses Per Customer<\/th>\nHow many times can a customer use this coupon?<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Use Per Coupon<\/th>\nHow many times can this coupon be used totally?<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    From Date<\/th>\nWhen is this coupon valid for to start.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    To Date<\/th>\nWhen is the last date this coupon can be used?<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Priority<\/th>\nSet the priority of the coupon in numerical form.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
