In a previous article, we showed you how to use the <a href=\"\/support\/edu\/joomla\/joomla-2-5\/add-new-language-override\/\">Joomla 2.5 language override<\/a> feature to change language specific text within Joomla. We will use that same feature to disable passwords being sent through email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To disable passwords being sent through email in Joomla 2.5 new account activation emails:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol class=\"article_list\">\n<li><a href=\"\/support\/edu\/joomla\/joomla-3\/how-to-log-in-to-administrative-dashboard\/\">Log into your Joomla Dashboard<\/a><\/li>\n<li>In the to menu, hover over <strong>Extensions<\/strong> and click <strong>Language Manager<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Overrides<\/strong> tab, and then click <strong>New<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Under Search text you want to change, enter <strong>COM_USERS_EMAIL_REGISTERED_WITH_ACTIVATION_BODY<\/strong>, select <strong>Constant<\/strong>, and then click <strong>Search<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>In the search results, click the result labeled <strong>COM_USERS_EMAIL_REGISTERED_WITH_ACTIVATION_BODY<\/strong>.
