If you would like to add polls<\/strong> to your Joomla 2.5<\/strong> website, you can do so using the AcePolls<\/strong> extension. In our previous tutorial, we walked you through the steps for installing the AcePolls extension<\/a>. After you have installed AcePolls, your next step will to to create a new poll<\/strong> to show on your Joomla 2.5 website.<\/p>\n

To create a Joomla 2.5 poll in AcePolls:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Log into your Joomla Dashboard<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. In the top menu, hover over Components<\/strong> >> AcePolls<\/strong>, and then click Polls
    \"components-acepolls-polls\"<\/a>\n

  3. In the top right menu, click New
    \"click-new-acepolls-poll\"<\/a>\n
    <\/div>\n

  4. Fill out the details of your new poll. The only mandatory fields are Title<\/strong> and Options<\/strong>
    \n\n\n\n\n
    Title<\/th>\nType in the title for your new Poll. In our example, we typed in \u201cWhich version of Joomla did you start with?\u201d<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Options<\/th>\nThe options you enter will be the choices your users can select within your poll. For example, if the question is \u201cWhich version of Joomla did you start with?\u201d, possible options include Joomla 1, Joomla 1.5, Joomla 1.6, and so on. By default you can enter two options. To add more, simply click the plus icon.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
