At the bottom of your newly installed Magento 1.6 shopping cart<\/a>, there\u2019s a footer that contains the copyright information. Magento<\/a> 1.6 allows you to completely customize what shows up in the footer of every page in your shopping cart. Editing the footer and changing the copyright information is easily accomplished through the Magento Admin Panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log into your Magento Admin Backend<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Go to System > Configuration<\/strong>.
    \"magento_edit_footer_1\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. In the left menu pane under \u201cGeneral<\/strong>\u201d select \u201cDesign<\/strong>\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click on the \u201cFooter<\/strong>\u201d section in the center of your browser screen to open it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Under the \u201cCopyright<\/strong>\u201d section type in your new custom copyright information.
