At this point you\u2019ve enabled the blog module<\/a> and created your first blog entry<\/a>. By default, commenting (allowing others to post comments on your blog post) is set to Open<\/strong>. Open commenting means anyone with an account that has the permissions set to Post comments<\/strong> will be able to comment.<\/p>\n

At times, you may want to turn commenting off. You can either turn commenting off for all blog posts<\/a>, or you can disable commenting on individual blog entries. In this tutorial, we\u2019ll walk you through the steps for turning commenting off for specific blog posts.<\/p>\n

To turn of Commenting for a blog entry in Drupal 7:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Log into the Drupal Dashboard<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Go to Find content<\/strong> in the upper left corner<\/li>\n
  3. Find the Blog Entry<\/strong> page you want to turn commenting off for and click edit<\/strong> to the right of it\"drupal_comment_1\"<\/a>\n

  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and find the \u201cComment Settings<\/strong>\u201d and click on it
