ModSecurity can help protect your website from common exploits and attacks. ModSecurity audit logs can include information about the transactions that are happening. In this tutorial, we will show you how to set your ModSecurity audit log level. This lets you choose the type of transactions that are logged, which can be helpful when troubleshooting issues. You can adjust the log settings on all of our VPS and Dedicated hosting plans.
Change ModSecurity Audit Log Level
Type ‘modsecurity’ in the search field, then click the ModSecurity™ Configuration link in the Security Center section.
Locate the Audit Log Level section of the ModSecurity Configuration page and choose your setting. The options are to Only log noteworthy transactions, Do not log any transactions, or Log all transactions (this option is only recommended for debugging purposes).
Click the Save button to set your audit log level.
You are finished when you see a message stating “Success: You have successfully saved your ModSecurity™ settings.”
Congratulations, now you know how to change your ModSecurity audit log level!
