# How to Install OpCache on your cPanel Server

cPanel server administrators don’t need the [terminal](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/server/zend/installing-zend-opcache/) to install OpCache. In this tutorial, we will show you how to **install OpCache** on your cPanel server. [OpCache](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/remove-opcache-from-your-server/) can easily be set up on your server via WHM using EasyApache 4 (EA4).

****Note:** If you need assistance making changes to your server, we offer professional [Managed Hosting](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/solutions) services.

## Installing OpCache

1. [Log into WHM](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/whm/log-into-whm/) as the ‘[root](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/amp/obtain-root-access/)‘ user.
2. [![](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/opcache_ea4.png)](/support/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/opcache_ea4.png) Type ‘easy’ in the search field, then click the **EasyApache** 4 link in the *Software* section.
3. 4. [![](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/opcache_provision-opcache-ea4.png)](/support/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/opcache_provision-opcache-ea4.png) You will then see a list of the packages you will be *installing* and *upgrading*. Scroll to the bottom and click the **Provision** button.   [![](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/opcache_provision-process-started.png)](/support/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/opcache_provision-process-started.png) The provision process will begin. This may take several minutes to complete.
5. [![](https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/opcache_done-provisioning-opcache.png)](/support/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/opcache_done-provisioning-opcache.png) OpCache has been installed successfully when you see a message stating “*The provision process is complete.*” Click the **Done** button on the bottom of the page.
