Download a copy of your website files

This article will walk you through downloading website files from a previous host that does not utilize cPanel.

  1. Using the FTP and Database Information Needed form we have provided, contact your previous host and fill in the requested information for your previous host.
  2. On your local computer’s desktop, create a new folder named website backup.
  3. Download and install the FTP program FileZilla.
  4. Using FileZilla and the information from the form in Step 1, connect to your previous host and download your website files to the website backup folder on your local computer.
