# How to Disable Mixed Unicode Subsets in BlaB! AX

## Disable Subsets

1. [Log in to BlaB! AX as an administrator](/support/website/how-to-log-in-to-blab-ax/).
2. Click the triple-dot icon in the upper-left corner to view user options.
3. Click the “**A**” admin button.
4. On the left, click **Settings**.
5. Click **UTF8SCAN**.
6. At the top, click **Off** and select **On**.
7. Deselect unicode subsets to disallow.
8. Edit the error message below.
9. Click **OKAY**.

## UTF8 Scan

1. Copy a username from the users list to the username field at the bottom.
2. Click **UTF8SCAN** for results.
