Moodle login not visible after installation

After installing Moodle to a new folder of my existing website, the admin login link AND the moodle link only display the original website. For example, if I go to www.mydomain.com and www.mydomain.com/moodle they both show the same screen with no login available. What could be the issue which prevents me from even getting to a login screen to build on Moodle?

Hello, I'm sorry to hear about your problems with the Moodle login. Please make sure to review the login page within our tutorials on Moodle. If you installed it in a separate subdirectory, then you the login page will be in THAT subdirectory. If you're trying to combine, then you may need a custom module that can work between your website and the Moodle login. I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance. Regards, Arnel C.
