I upgraded to Moodle 2.9 yesterday and evr since then I get an email from Cron Daemon with a Subject line of "Cron php -q /home/astenj5/public_html/ate/ate/admin/cli/cron.php". I have turned off "Use slash arguments" on the Administration/Server/HTTP page as suggested in some posts but that hasn't fixed the problem. I'm somewhat of a noobie with Moodle and I'm not sure how to proceed. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Bollycanuk, I'm sorry to hear that th upgrade to Moodle 2.9 has somehow triggered a repeated cron job email. Can you please provide some detail about what the email says? Is there an error being reported? You can login to your webmail with your cPanel user name and password. You should be able to then see the contents of those emails. It would help to know WHY those messages are appearing instead of simply removing them. They may be indicating an unresolved issue with the Moodle installation. Please provide us with further information and we can study the issue in more depth. If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know. Kindest Regards, Arnel C.
