oscommerce admin configuration with shared ssl and temp URL

I am trying to setup and test osCommerce using the temp URL for our website, and shared SSL. I modified my local hosts file, so that I can now successfully get to our website using the domain name rather than the explicit temp URL. I also modifed the main osCommerce config.php so that I can now successfully get to the sample osCommerce pages with shared SSL. The problem I am having is with the Admin side. I can't seem to find the right setup for the Admin config.php that will allow me to get to the Admin pages. The error message I am getting (in FireFox) is: "The page isn't redirecting properly." Is there some clear example of the Admin configuration for osCommerce for a shared SSL environment and a temporary URL?

Hello Richard, I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems getting your osCommerce site to work using the shared SSL and temp URL. I looked at your files and you have your configurations mixed (make ALL of the paths use the temp URL, not just some of them). Also, the admin configuration does not follow the instructions per the link I gave to you earlier. Check out this page from osCommerce: How to Install SSL on OSC. Please properly set the configuration and then let us know if you continue to have the problem. Kindest regards, Arnel C.
