Joomla site migration from localhost problems

I've attempted to migrate a test site to my inmotion server a few times in the last few days and continuously get the same errors. I've used two different methods, each to no avail.

Error messages: When attempting to open the administration panel

Warning: require_once(/home/theunix/public_html/MY SITE.com/working/components/com_jce/editor/libraries/classes/editor.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/theunix/public_html/MYSITE.com/working/administrator/components/com_jce/includes/loader.php on line 49

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/theunix/public_html/MYSITE.com/working/components/com_jce/editor/libraries/classes/editor.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/theunix/public_html/MYSITE.com/working/administrator/components/com_jce/includes/loader.php on line 49

I confirmed that the paths and files were valid AND their content matched the same on my localhost.

Error messages: When attempting to open the website

Fatal error: Class 'K2HelperUtilities' not found in /home/theunix/public_html/MYSITE.com/working/administrator/components/com_k2/helpers/html.php on line 56

I confirmed that the paths and files were valid AND their content matched the same on my localhost.

Method 1:
- cleared cache and logged out
-exported database - insured that database name and connection credentials matched the target on the server.
-compacted the full joomla installation of the site.
-imported the database to the server
-uploaded and extracted the joomla installation, verified directory structures and files

Method 2:
- backed up database and installation with Akeeba joomla backup component
-did binary transfer of backup to server.
- installed Akeeba Kickstart
- unpacked backup with Kickstart (direct method)
- verified database was intact and website files and directories were correct.

Can anybody help me to sort this out. I'm at a total loss on this. Please know that I am NOT a Joomla wizard but these steps SHOULD have brought some level of success.

Thanks in advance,

Dan

Hello Dan,

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your migration. I have checked your account and can confirm the paths are indeed incorrect. The path folder after 'home' should be the same as your cPanel username. It is not as 'theunix' is not a valid format for our servers. Also, check the paths for capitalization as some folders have capital letters at the beginning. Unix servers are case sensitive so the paths would need to be exact in this regard.

Kindest Regards,
