Show category id in url

I am using Joomla in my website. my website url takes category id as well as article id in the url.


like domain name/ 12-category/2 article. how i can remove this id.

Hello, Thanks for the question! Changing the URL so that a person visiting your site sees something different typically requires a re-write of the URL. However, luckily, this is a fairly common request, so there is a feature of Joomla called Search Engine Friendly URLs. We have a tutorial called Using SEFs in Joomla 3.1.
