I have a second domain registered with inmotion. I also have a server on a personal public static IP. I would like the DNS record for m domain name to point to my IP address. Can this be done?

How would you rate the customer service you received?

Why is the Zone Editor A record not resolving on my name server?

I created a new A record. I have more than 50 records created so the procedure that was followed is the same as the past records.

My domain name servers are not reflecting the A records that I created!

Hello.

Thanks for posting your question about pointing your domain to a static IP address. You will need to make sure the domain is pointed to our nameservers. Then, you can add the domain to your cPanel account. Once the domain is added to cPanel you can modify the A record to point the domain to the IP address you desire.

NOTE: You will need to allow about 24-48 hours for the DNS to propagate throughout the internet before the domain begins routing to the new IP address.

I hope this helps!

Sincerely,

Carlos D.
