I get notifications of new users registering on Wordpress

I often get notifications of new users registering, ie:

ew user registration on your site Zerrecon, Inc.:

Username: RubenOVSAztjgt

E-mail: [email protected]

These are not people I know in any way. I don't see anything malicious on my website, but it seems like an attack of some sort.
Any advice?

Hello EdEllingsonEngineer, Thank you for your question. This is a pretty common problem with websites, specifically WordPress. I recommend using an anti-spam plugin such as WP-reCAPTCHA.
