Mails sent with winmail.dat attachment

Hello, our domain is hosted by "inmotionhosting.com".
I have configured an IMAP account in Outlook for sending & receiving emails from that domain.
The SMTP server is "secure104.inmotionhosting.com".
When I send a mail from that account, if it contains a logo in the signature, recipients receive it with a "Winmail.dat" attachment.
I have read that I should make sure that mails are sent in HTML format.
How can I check if the SMTP server sends mails in the correct format ?
Thank you.

Unfortunately, the server logs will not show the formatting within your message, just that a message was sent. You will indeed want to format your information using HTML. To see if the message is formatted as you want it, I recommend sending a message to another email account and checking that account to ensure everything looks as you want it.
