Sub-domains and Email on a .uk address?

I'm trying to set up a UK-based website, and I've been told I can register the domain name elsewhere and point it to your servers (as you can't register .uk at this time). My question is, will this affect the sub-domains and emails included with whatever package I choose?

For example, will I be able to have news.mysite.org.uk or [email protected]? Obviously ease of use is important, but we are a charity and need accessibility to be as straightforward as possible.

Basically, I want to ensure that everything has the same domain name, and that I will be getting the sub domains and email accounts I pay for with my package, regardless of who I chose to register with.

I realize this might be a 'duh' kind of question, but I wanted to verify before committing to contract.

Thank you for any help you can give here,

As the nameservers would be pointed here, any DNS records including subdomains would also be read here as well. Any of your subdomains will work just fine. Please keep in mind that it can take up to 24 hours for propagation after creating them.
