I'm trying to create a website for the first time and see that you recommend WordPress, but also have a program called Premium Website Builder. Could you summarize the difference between these two briefly please?

Hello MagWitch,

Just a bit of additional information for you. Wordpress may have a bit more of a learning curve, but is much much more powerful and expandable. Some of the largest sites in the world use WordPress, over 60% of the top 1 million sites use it.

As for your Wordpress wp-admin issue, that happens when a folder is missing the index file. It should not happen with a standard WordPress install. I am happy to check into that for you, if you would not mind commenting back with the domain name, I could go ahead and do that.

Kindest Regards,

The Premium Website Builder is made to be extremely basic and limits to specific templates. While it is made to get a website up quickly, it is very limited in design elements and functionality. Wordpress is a free open source software that is used worldwide and has as much or little functionality as you want to get from it. The premium website builder is made more for a very small site for beginners whereas Wordpress ranges from beginner to advanced depending on your knowledge and will scale with you over time.
