New Website - Which Application ?

Hi,

I am planning to add an additional account to the two accounts I already have but not sure what application to use from the hundreds available. I am trying to create a online&onsite personal trainer website that is subscription/membership based (with free, basic and premium levels). Once the client logs in (preferably with the option of facebook, yahoo, google ) she/he will have access to uploaded - downloadable materials and information that is only available to them. They should also be able to upgrade between memberships easily or purchase additional sessions with a click of a button. If the application has a android or iphone version it's even better so people can access their data on the go.

Please let me know what you recommend. Thank you,
Anette

Hello Gulfportflorist, Thanks for the question! It's always a tough thing to figure out how you're going to find an application that meets your ecommerce needs. The features that you're referring to: downloadable products, easy upgrades, and mobile access are typical of modern ecommerce websites. The main thing to remember is that these are features that may require custom coding depending on what you're trying to do. It may not be something that you can buy off-the-shelf, so to speak. I did check and both do include plugins/extensions that may meet your functional goals. I'll offer two possible answers that may meet your needs: PrestaShop and OpenCart. Both of these products are freeware ecommerce solutions, but the extension to meet some of your functional requirements - such as a Android or iOS store access may not be free. Both of these solutions are very capable ecommerce solutions and they can also be customized. Check them out and consider them for your upcoming online stores. I hope this helps to answer your question! Please let us know if you require any further assistance. Regards, Arnel C.
