I cannot upload a photo to my site with word press.

I keep getting an error: Unable to create directory D:\Hosting\2248308\html/wp-content/uploads/2012/07. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
is something set up wrong and how do I fix it?

Hello brianmazz, Thank you for your question. Sorry to hear you are unable to create a directory. Here is a link to a forum post on the Official Wordpress site, where they provide a solution to a similar error (it looks to be caused by a permission issue). If you are hosted with us, you can modify the permissions in cPanel. It looks like you trying to upload a file to Wordpress, but it is trying to create a directory in: D:\Hosting\2248308\html/wp-content/uploads/2012/07 This is a directory on your local computer, instead of online.
