1. Your site indicates that there are limits to Mailing list emails sent per hour. Is this true for VPS?
2. Can mail lists be sent through SMTP through INMotionHosting or do I need to use a Mail Service such as Mail Chimp?
3. Some of my subscriptions emails are getting bounced back for Spam. How can I avoid that. These users have signed up for our mailing lists?

Hello Soazkaren, I am glad to answer your questions today. 1) Your site indicates that there are limits to Mailing list emails sent per hour. Is this true for VPS?
Shared plans have a limit of 250 emails per hour, but there is no limit to the amount of emails you can send on a VPS and Dedicated plans. 2) Can mail lists be sent through SMTP through INMotionHosting or do I need to use a Mail Service such as Mail Chimp? You can send your emails through the standard email server, but you may want to use a mail list management program such as phpList to help you. You do not need use a service like MailChimp though you are certainly welcome to use them as well. You can also set your rate limit in the phpList as well. 3)Some of my subscriptions emails are getting bounced back for Spam. How can I avoid that. These users have signed up for our mailing lists? Spam evaluation is done on the receiving email server, so it can be that their server is finding certain words of the content on their spam list. However, to maximize your chances from the sending side, you will want to ensure you enable SPF keys and DKIM for your account. This will give more validity to your emails by telling the receiving server you are who you say you are and not being spoofed by a spammer. Best Regards Scott M
