Hello Pamella,

I looked into this issue and I wanted to first apologize because there appears to be some confusion here. There is a support ticket documenting your issue and a tech did reply to you on 3/1/2013. The issue is that when we tried to transfer at that time, the errors for the same errors for the transfer occurred that you also saw previously (per the notes on the email).

The transfer code that you were given previously was either incorrect or invalid. It would have needed to be stated that you were transferring one Melbourne IT Reseller to another Melbourne IT Reseller. I have sent a message into the Support Manager to see if there is anything that we can do. I'm currently awaiting his response. We may need to send an email to Melbourne to see if there's anything that can be done.

Transfers typically need to be initiated from the domain registrar side by you (the owner of the domain). We do not have control to tell them to transfer the domain. If you are still able to contact Verio and ask them for the correct transfer key, then this issue can be done immediately - basically the domain (although technically with the correct domain registrar) is not transferred to us. That's why you cannot make any changes to the domain.

The worse case scenario would be that you would need to contact Melbourne IT and ask about how to move the domain from Verio to InMotion Hosting.

As soon as I get a response, I will either post a comment on the issue here, or send you a private email in regards to the matter.

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
