Moving my Inmotion Joomla! site from a subdomain to replace existing Inmotion FrontPage site

Hello,

I saw a couple of other posts on similar topics, but I wanted to be sure that my situation necessitates the same steps. I want to replace my organization's old FrontPage website (papersofabrahamlincoln.org) with a new Joomla! one that is currently at a subdomain of the main site (bears.papersofabrahamlincoln.org).

My plan is to move everything currently in public_html except the "bears" folder into a new folder on public_html called "old_site". I am then going to move everything from the "bears" folder directly into public_html.

I am then going to edit my configuration.php file to remove the references to the bears subdomain from the $log_path and the $tmp_path codes.

Is this all I need to do to migrate my site?

Thanks so much,
Helena
