Permissions problem?

<div>I was on the phone with customer support twice last night, once for the following issue. I am unable to access the image manager when I am trying add product images to my inventory. I get the message Error: access is denied Error: access is denied undefined While I was on the phone with support, the admin page became unavailable also. The username/password fields simply reset when login was attempted. I contacted Opencart as advised and got the following response: Hi Mason, For your issue, it should due to the permission issue. You can try to change the permission from the opencart folder from your server. Please change the permission from the below. http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=documentation/documentation&amp;path=4 Best Regards Felix I'm not sure how to proceed at this point, as I thought the support person on the phone last night checked the permissions. If you need to access my cPanel, the password is ********. Thank you.</div>

Hello Bucksnort, and thanks for your question. This would probably best be an issue handled directly by our support department so that you can pass them additional information such as your OpenCart admin credentials. I've gone ahead and double-checked your account's file permissions and they appear to be correct. Were you recently doing anything in your admin section before you started getting the access is denied errors, and eventually the admin page going unavailable? It's strange that it had let you login to the admin section at first and now isn't letting you do so, which sounds to me like a plugin or functionality was changed in the admin section causing this sudden loss of access. I would recommend either giving us a call at the number at the top of our website or starting a live chat session with our support department. You can also submit a support ticket with more detailed information about your problem as well. In order to submit a ticket, please shoot an e-mail to ([email protected]) being sure to include your username, and the original cPanel password of your account or the last 4 digits of the credit card on file for verification. Or you can submit a ticket directly through our support interface here: Submit a support ticket Please let us know if you have any further questions at all. - Jacob
