Forwarding email to business Gmail account

Hi, I've got my main email address configured so I can use Gmail on it so I have custom MX entries pointing emails to my domain to Google. I added a new email specifically for accepting payments and set it up to forward to the email account on Gmail. When I send a test email to the payment email, the email fails. What do I need to do?

Hello Nameless,

I see the domain that has the MX records set up for Google and they appear correct. This means that our server is no longer a part of the email route and the emails do not pass through this side at all.

I did send a test mail to see what type of error may occur and I do see it connecting to the google email server at aspmx.l.google.com.

However, there is an error message that gets returned, that is:
"550-5.1.1 The email account that you tried to reach does not exist. Please try\n550-5.1.1 double-checking the recipient's email address for typos or\n550-5.1.1 unnecessary spaces. Learn more at\n550 5.1.1 http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?answer=6596 oo1si8800371pbc.39"

This error message is saying it cannot find an email address associated with that address, basically it does not exist. You will want to try and set it up again via the Google side.

Best Regards,
