I will be thankful if you can move the php.ini files away from the document root with the rest of the apache files as this poses a big risk. And also make my htaccess files visible. Thank you.

Hello Sidney,

You can move the php.ini file up to your home directory if you like. Or you can simply remove it and let the site run off of the server default. If you move it, you will need to adjust your .htaccess file to reflect the new path.

In regards to the .htaccess file, you can enable the ability to see them by selecting the checkbox for Show Hidden Files when you enter the File Manager from the popup box.

If you have disabled the popup box, you can re-enable it by scrolling to the very bottom of the cpanel screen and selecting the link named 'reset all interface settings'.
