I am trying to upload a 9Gb system image file to my web server, but the upload keeps failing with a "Disk Full" error, but I have unlimited disk space on my account.

What could be causing this?

Hello Tdejony73,

Your account indicates that you are on a VPS1000 account. VPS's do not have unlimited space. You have 40 GB to work with on that type of account. You have the option to set individual accounts to "unlimited" but they fall within the 40 GB limitation of your account. Additionally, files uploaded to the website would typically need to be there in relation to the website. Using the website space for storage of non-website related files actually violates the Terms of Service. If you're using it to move things around, you can do so, but it appears that you will need to clear some space from your server to make that happen. You are getting the disk full error because your account has used up the 40 GB of space that it has been allotted. Use your FTP client or File manager to review your files to clear some hard drive space for your files.
