Domain transfer without interruption in emails

I have a domain registered with Go Daddy that is being used as an email forwarder ([email protected] forwarded to my ISP provided email). Can I transfer the domain and hosting without an interruption to my emails?

Hi trealyea, Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. Transferring the management rights of the domain does not affect the current settings whatsoever. Only at the point in which you change the nameservers of the domain to point the domain here, can it affect your mail. This is what I would suggest. Go ahead and transfer the management rights of the domain. Here's a tutorial on that: Transferring a Domain Name Then, you'll want to add the domain to cPanel if it's not already. Once the domain is added to your account (as the primary domain or an add-on domain) you'll be able to create you email accounts. You can create the email accounts and forwarders in cPanel. At this point you're ready to change the nameservers. Once the nameservers are changed it can take up to 24 hours to fully propagate. During the propagation phase, emails could be routed to the old GoDaddy server or the new InMotion account. Since both accounts have the forwarders set up - the email will be routed to your ISP's email address. Once propagation has finished, all the email will be routed through your InMotion Hosting account. Creating an Email Forwarder Creating an Email Account in cPanel Updating your Nameservers Adding New Domains in cPanel I hope this helps!
