domain is passings.us

I had redirected it in entirety, but then I decided to do mail here and website dev elsewhere. I went to Zone editor and got nothing for the domain. So I went back and removed the domain pointing. Tried again, still don't see the passings.us domain

Ok, got the addon part done and the zone editor part.

Also added the email account and was able to send.

However, I am not receiving mail back to the account when I reply or send directly to it.

What else do I need to do?

Thanks for your help!

I thought the add on domain was for subdomains or parking a domain?

I have a domain that I am hosting somewhere else for a business reason, but I want to run the mail through Inmotion.... is that possible or not?

Yes, the first step in hosting email with InMotion is adding the domain to an account. If you are on a Business hosting plan, you should add the domain as an Addon Domain. Just like Chris described.

If you are on a VPS or Dedicated server, you can create a new cPanel for this account or add it as an Addon to an existing cPanel.

After adding the domain to an account, you can create the email accounts and point the MX records to the domain.

Thank you,

John-Paul

Has the domain been added to your account as an addon domain?
