How to get low cost SSL for multiple different .coms?

Currently we purchase all of our domains and SSLs from NameCheap and we host active sites/pages on IMHosting. We have 50 different .com's that we'd like to create landing pages for and host on IMHosting, and apply SSLs to each one.

These are all different .com's and not subdomains.

NameCheap has a "Positive SSL Multidomain" option but when we add all 50 domains, the fee is over USD $850 per year. Their 5 year package is over USD $2,700 (paid upfront). And this doesn't cover subdomains if we want that for later.

This seems pretty expensive to us. Is there a more affordable option to have many SSLs or many websites or does IMHosting have something better instead of using a 3rd party?

Great question! I'm going to recommend you use cPanel's free AutoSSL. It's easy to set up with sites hosted here regardless of your domain registrar as long as the domain resolves to your InMotion Hosting account, and since these are actual SSLs (not self-signed), they'll work for most situations as long as you are not collecting and storing private customer financial data on the site itself. Hope that helps save you some money!
