What is my 'database host'?

When setting up an app (like Crater) located in my public_html directory, and it asks me what my 'database host' is, is it 127.0.0.1, or is it my 'shared ip', or is it something else???  Is the database port '3306'?

Thank you so much for your question about what is a database host. You should enter the value under localhost. However, if you're connected to a remote server, you should use the domain name, like example.com. I hope this helps.
