Hi, Anonymous! The guide on changing the WordPress URL that Mario mentioned in the other post is indeed the way to go about resolving the situation and would be better than completely starting over. That said, unless you already have an established web presence and need to keep the 'www' around for SEO purposes, remember that it's quite common to skip the 'www' on sites these days. Hope this helps!

Hello,

Thank you for the great question!

>>> If I unistall Wordpress and I will install again I will lose what I create till now?

Yes, if you uninstall WordPress you would be losing all your content/data. However, it is possible to change the URL of your website and your WordPress admin dashboard.

To change your domain/website address you can do this via the phpmyadmin database > wp-options > site_url.

Inmotion Hosting has a great article on this with the exact steps here: https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/wordpress/wordpress-changing-the-site-url-and-home-settings/

Important: Please make a full cPanel backup before any changes to prevent data loss.

If you require any further information please contact Inmotion Hosting directly via a ticket.

Thanks!
