If you are on a shared hosting plan, the easiest way to uninstall Wordpress will be using the Softaculous Apps Installer. Softaculous can easily be used to uninstall Wordpress.
If this is your first/primary site, you may have had difficulty finding the site folders because they are listed in /home/username/public_html (with 'username' being replaced by the cPanel name on your account).
You can always delete the contents of a Wordpress site directory and remove the associated database if you want to get rid of the installation, but please be careful. Deleted files cannot usually be recovered and there can be problems if the wrong files are deleted.
