Domain with Office 365, trying to setup website via IONOS hosting.

Hi guys,

I'm a novice at this so please excuse my lack of understanding.

Earlier this year I purchased the Office 365 Business Plan and created my own domain via them. All has been fine thus far and have been using my own domain via Outlook.

I am now looking to setup my own website. I have created an account with IONOS (hosting), and they have advised me that before I can start, I need to change my name servers with my registrar (which I assume is Microsoft). IONOS have provided me with the nameserver details I need to amend them to.

I have sent said settings to Microsoft's Help Desk but they seem quite reluctant to action this for me. Is there any way that I can do this myself or does anyone know of an alternative method of changing these nameserver settings?

Many thanks in advance.

Dan

Hi, Dan! While we cannot directly support issues at other hosting providers, you should be able to either edit your DNS settings or point your domain at other nameservers from within your Office 365 account, if that is where your domain is registered. Hope that helps!
