i want to unlock my current domain names for transfer
how to unlocking my domain name
how do i unlock my domain

Hi There,

Can you please advise how I unlock my domain.

Many thanks

Emma

I'm trying to move my site to Shopify. How do I unlock my domain and where do I get the code?

You need to complete these steps with your current provider:

  • Log in to your current provider and check their transfer policy.
  • Unlock your domain.
  • Confirm that your admin email is up to date.
  • Get an authorization code from your provider.

I can only find information on transferring a domain to InMotion, not transferring my site away.

unlock domain in preparation for transfer

I HAVE BEEN ASKED BY WEEBLY TO REQUEST YOU UNLOCK THE DOMAIN NAME TO USE WITH MY NEW WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH MY SQUARE RETAIL POS

How do I unlock my domain name?
I'd like to transfer my domain name to another host. In order to do this I need to "unlock" my domain name. Where do I find this option within Inmotion's "Amp" panel?
I want unlock my Domain for a domain transfer to another domain registrar.

We do require this type of request in writing via: Live Chat (there is a link on the top of the page) or email Here is a link to the full walk-through article here in our support center that covers "How to unlock your domain name and retrieve your Authorization Code" If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
