I am using a Mac. My colleague tried on his Windows computer Remote Desktop, it didn't work.

Hello! It sounds like you are trying to connect to your server as though it were a normal desktop computer. I understand the confusion, because I did the same thing when I first started working with servers.

While there are some servers that do have a desktop setup, your VPS is running the server version of CentOS Linux or another server version of Linux. The server is accessible only from the command line. Here are some tutorials on the command line I organized, if they're of any help.

If you are on one of our Managed VPS plans, you can still access the server through cPanel and WHM to carry out basic tasks. Advanced tasks can be carried out by SSH'ing into the server for command line access after configuring root access.

If you are on one of our Cloud VPS plans, you will need to use SSH to manage the server. Hope that helps!
